These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Terminos desktop application, website, and related services (together, the "Service"), provided by Umut Koseoglu, an individual based in Türkiye ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Terminos is a macOS desktop application that provides an AI-native terminal and workspace for developers who use Anthropic's Claude Code. It reads Claude Code's local session data on your device to display context, activity, cost, and related information, and provides terminal, Git, and tooling features.
Terminos is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. "Claude" and "Claude Code" are trademarks of their respective owner. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party services you use through or alongside Terminos.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Terminos on devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use. A Free tier is available; certain features require a paid subscription (see Section 4).
You may not: (a) copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the Service; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except where permitted by law; (c) remove proprietary notices; or (d) use the Service to build a competing product.
Some features require an account or a valid subscription. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
Paid plans are offered as recurring subscriptions billed monthly. Prices are shown on our Pricing page and at checkout.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe others' rights, transmit malware, gain unauthorized access to systems, or interfere with the Service's operation. You are solely responsible for the code, commands, and data you run through Terminos.
Terminos can interact with third-party tools and services you configure (for example Claude Code, MCP servers, Git hosts, and optional secondary AI providers). You supply your own credentials for those services, and your use of them is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. Any feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will accurately reflect third-party data (including Claude Code's internal, undocumented data formats, which may change).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, the license in Section 2 ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Türkiye have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
